
DPS 3005 power supply case

<p>I have unused 24v power supply laying around so I've made case for it so it can act as “lab” (big quotes here) power supply</p><p>it uses DPS3005 dc dc module (or any with same form factor) and some other parts like power cord: </p><p>1x AC-17 250V 10A fused Rocker Switch Socket IEC320 C14 Socket 2 pin AC Socket Femal Connector Socket</p><p>1x DPS 3005</p><p>1x Banana plugs Couple Terminals Red Black</p><p>and of course power source - I ve used the one from the picture JC-360-24 so other brands may have different hole patterns.</p><p> </p><p>The process is pretty straight forward. The most tricky part is to route 24v from back to front. I used drillbit and perfored front and back of the power supply (it is made from alluminium so it was easy), but maybe it can be squished there somehow. Than you should wire everything up and power supply is ready to go.</p><p> </p>
