Down Tor - Pockle Rock - I just stumbled upon this rock at the end of a recent walk, and I'm convinced that I spotted lucky clovers sprouting in its crevices – this was the outcome of a scan test using a relatively low-resolution frame size with dense stereo / sfm / colmap /etc. A massive thank you to Just Walking! for creating their walking videos (check out their YT channel link below) – – here's the video linked with time offset so you can see the rock in 4K for yourself: https://youtu.be/oYJl1SqpvRo?t=1543 The original #pointcloud #3dscan was made from 124 still frames from a 1440p downsampled from 4k video originally captured with GoPro Hero 8 Black (go to the video link above for more details on that) this is a procedurally cleaned up (aka “hpruned and htightened”) version of the raw point cloud, for your enjoyment and use for whatever you'd like thanks so much!! - Alan/Organic Tools used: youtube-dl, ffmpeg, python, colmap, houdini, blender https://www.instagram.com/organiccomputer
