I designed an adapter to seamlessly connect a 4x3 downspout to a 3-inch plastic pipe, efficiently directing rainwater away from my house. The standard issue adapter provided by the contractor proved inadequate, frequently clogging when debris larger than a small twig was swept down the downspout. This led me to create a significantly more free-flowing transition adapter, and I'm pleased to share it with you. The joining points for this two-piece design feature 1/4-inch bolts and nuts.
