Downspout adapter

In a standard household radon remediation setup, it's common practice to utilize a regular downspout as the exhaust vent when the fan is positioned outside. Typically, installers modify the radon fan's 3-inch pipe fitting to fit snugly into the downspout using an excessive amount of silicone caulk and nothing else. However, I opted for a more suitable design that accommodates an Amerimax vinyl downspout elbow's smaller end, allowing it to securely fit inside a so-called 3-inch PVC pipe fitting, which actually measures around 3.5 inches in diameter. For those who need to work with different brands of downspouts, the OpenSCAD file is included as a convenient solution. Print Settings: Printer: Makerfarm Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 30%
