This is a output modifier for the Downey-Johnson 20-PH to sort coins into the CH-268T Coin analyzer, this is yet to be tested but will be tested and updated within a week if any revisions are needed, they will be updated and posted within a week.1/16/2024 Update 1 : This part is an exact fit, I should've stated that when I made the post to begin with, to deal with this you could shrink the part by a small percentage so its an easy fit into the machine or you can make the walls extra thick and sand them down to give the part tolerance. I chose to sand the part down after printing it with 0.0 tolerance. I would suggest making the walls 1.2 mm thick with 3 passes of a 0.4 mm extruder nozzle if you plan on sanding it for clearance. With this part I can get ~100 coins per minute without a jam. I will improve this design in the coming days. Within the week I plan on revising this design to get 500-1000 coins per minute.1/16/2024 Update 2 : I have completely remodeled this to achieve a higher coins per minute. This design was limiting in several ways. To begin with the insert couldn't slow the coins down enough to prevent bouncing off the back wall, causing jams. Secondly, it did not fit with the plans I have for this project. I'm starting work on a three part design, with a part to bolt directly on to the coin counter to feed the coin analyzer, a part that incases the coin analyzer and then separately, a part to funnel coins into containers. I plan on releasing these parts in stages, design, tested and fully functional. My lasted design for this piece will be posted on my design page. This insert will no longer be updated.
