The goal is to create a robust and long-lasting parrot perch using readily available 1" PVC pipes that can be purchased at your local hardware store, saving you money in the process. To do this, simply 3D print two brackets of your chosen size (1/4" equals 13mm and 1/2" equals 18mm). Once all the PVC is pressed into place, no glue will be needed as the stiffness of the PVC will hold the perch together securely. My parrots adore their perches. I have tall perches set up in the living room, shorter perches in the bathroom and bedroom that my birds love to climb on and play with.
