Dowel Puzzle
pinshape
There are eight dowel segments waiting to be fitted into a box, and fitting seven pieces should come easily. The real challenge is figuring out how to squeeze the last piece in. This straightforward project was crafted from scrap wood at minimal cost and took about an hour to complete. For those who prefer a 3D printed version, STP/STL files are included. I put the puzzle to the test with my two teenage children, but they couldn't crack it within five minutes, so I'd say it's moderately difficult. You can find this Amazon version here: http://amzn.to/2hL9gHH Tesa Timonen of Sweden is credited with creating this logic puzzle back in 2002. I reverse-engineered this specific version from online images. Learn more about the project at https://www.instructables.com/...
