Dowel Lamp with low poly shade!

This sleek modern lamp leverages a versatile light socket from IKEA, paired with sturdy 3/8" wooden dowels for a striking design! The lamp shade was meticulously modeled in Fusion and then refined in Meshmixer to achieve a distinctive low-poly aesthetic. Printed using Vase mode (with spiralized outer contours) to ensure a seamless fit on most build plates, the shade measures 140mm in diameter and height. Please note that this lamp is specifically designed for LED bulbs only, as conventional bulbs could potentially overheat and damage the delicate shade. To avoid any issues, make sure your chosen bulb remains cool enough not to melt the shade. The light socket featured in the video and images is the IKEA "Hemma", although the attractive "Sekond" braided cordset should also fit comfortably. Enjoy your newly created lamp!
