Drumgath graveyard takes shape as a circular expanse measuring 67.5 meters north-south by 69 meters east-west, hosting numerous headstones and gravemarkers that span centuries, some harking back to the 19th century. At the northernmost end of this serene haven lies a cairn constructed from stones piled high atop a rectangular structure, potentially a church measuring 7.7 meters in length by 5.1 meters in width. Four lines of gravemarkers stretch outward from it, one pointing north and three directed south. In the southeastern corner stands an intriguing possible mortuary house - a standing structure that remains open at both ends, adorned with a rough-hewn arch.
