Dovetail Iron Sights for .177 rifle

This file might have a front post that's too tall for your rifle, so consider checking out the other sight I made that fits better and has a shorter, more accurate front post. This is an Iron sight I designed specifically for my Umarex Surge air rifle, but I'm not sure if the front sights will fit on other air rifle barrels as they were made to clip onto my rifle's break action barrel. However, it might work on other air rifles as well, provided they don't have any existing sights. The Rear sight is designed for an 11mm dovetail rail and can be popped into place with a bit of sliding force, depending on how accurately you scale it - a small hammer may also come in handy. You'll know it's on when it either pops into place or won't go down further, at which point the rear sight should be snug on the rail. The front sights require screws or pins, and while gluing them together is possible, be careful not to glue them to your barrel. Pins can be made from cut nails, 3D printed, or cut from metal rods - just make sure they're 1/8 of an inch wide or slightly less for a snug fit, as this will help keep the pins in place. The rear sight may require some adjustment in the slicer software to get the notches for elevation working correctly.
