Dovetail for Skywatcher Maksutov 90/1250 to EQ-3 mount This dovetail was made specially for Skywatcher 90/1250 MC telescope and SkywatcherEQ-3 (EQ3-2 too) mount. I mean, I don't know if it fits other telescopes and mounts of other brands. I used a quite large tolerance during the design. Still, I suggest, print just the first few layers at first (cancel printing) and try it on your telescope! If the holes line up, then all right.By the way, print it upside down, as you can see on the slicer preview picture, or as the STL is opened in the slicer.Just in case, I also attached the FreeCad file. It is simple. You can modify the dimensions if you need it. You can correct it also with drill, rasp or similar tools. ImportatntYou will need two M6 screws. The thread must be shorter than 15 mm and the head must not be higher than 5 mm. I used M6x14 screws, which are used for server rack systems.I have attached a washer in case it is necessary. PrintingI printed it with my Anet A8 Plus. I recommend using 100% infill! Set 5 walls at least! Because the infill direction differs from the walls.The prototype (with 30% infill) can be seen on the first pictures. I thought a thick wall will be enough. But the side dented at first try. Then I printed it with 100% infill. This second one got terribly ugly. So I left the pictures of the first one. Also the second with 100% infill accidentally curled up from the build plate. I didn't want to waste this massive block of filament. I heated it up with a heat gun and straightened it.  Fine resolution isn't required. I used 0.3 mm layer hight, but 0.4 mm may also be good. Important notice for the gcode filesI'm only uploading my gcode files to show the printing statistics. My printer is upgraded with a BLtouch sensor and modified firmware. The gcode includes auto bed leveling. It may not work on stock printers!
