I created a custom dovetail specifically for my Celestron Astromaster 130EQ telescope. The goal was to avoid drilling any holes into the telescope's tube to mount a star finder, so I came up with this clever solution. This dovetail fits snugly between the two tube fixing rings on my telescope, offering a precise and secure mounting point. It measures out perfectly according to standard Synta dovetail dimensions, and features four pre-drilled holes for threading in screws to hold it firmly in place. To print this dovetail, I recommend orienting your printer vertically with support enabled.
