I redesigned the original design in Tinkercad.
I made it into a box with some space to hide something (like money as a gift)
I also designed it for a 9.6 mm ball and a 6mm by 3mm high round magnet that I could buy at my local office supply store (white board magnet).
The dimensional tolerances are critical, I had to sand a bit to make parts fit together smoothly.
Maybe I update the design later.
Let me know your experience when you print this design.
Also have a look at the original design from ScienceMadeFunner and the Clip on how to use the puzzle.

Print instructions

Category: Puzzles Summary

I redesigned the original design in Tinkercad.
I made it into a box with some space to hide something (like money as a gift)
I also designed it for a 9.6 mm ball and a 6mm by 3mm high round magnet that I could buy at my local office supply store (white board magnet).
The dimensional tolerances are critical, I had to sand a bit to make parts fit together smoothly.
Maybe I update the design later.
Let me know your experience when you print this design.
Also have a look at the original design from ScienceMadeFunner and the Clip on how to use the puzzle.

Print Settings

Printer: DaVinci Mini w

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.3 mm

Infill: 20%

Post-Printing

Post print correction

I had to rework and sand the dove tail to make it fit smoothly

How I Designed This

Tinkercad

This was my first design using Tinkercad
