Dovahkiin Helmet Full Size Remix
thingiverse
We spotted MHypothetical's Dovahkiin Helmet and thought it would make a fantastic impression printed full size. To get it to fit in our Z18 printer's build volume, we had to carefully separate the horns from the rest of the helmet and adjust its scale/rotation accordingly. The entire helmet took 150 hours to print, while the horns required a mere 10 hours. We captured a timelapse so you can experience the full print in just under two minutes! Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator Z18 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 20% Post-Printing After printing, we used hot glue to secure the horns to the helmet and applied foam padding to the interior of the helmet.
