The Douglas TDB-1 Devastator, a torpedo bomber for the United States Navy, was first flown in 1935 and entered service in 1937. Despite being advanced at that time, it quickly became outdated due to rapid aircraft advancements. Its performance declined significantly during the Battle of Midway, leading to its immediate withdrawal from frontline service and replacement with the Grumman TBF Avenger. The model, originally created in Cinema 4D, features detailed textures for close-up renders and includes bodypaint textures and standard materials. It comes with an inside scene containing a model, 18 textures, 1 material, and 1 alphamap. All materials, textures, and textures are included in the zip file. There's no need for cleaning up or using special plugins to open the scene, which supports Phong shading interpolation/smoothing at 35°. Separate fly and ground versions are available in lwo, 3ds, fbx, c4d, and obj files. Note that in lwo, 3ds, and obj files, the alphamap must be manually loaded into the Alphacanal or Transparency canal. The model is from a C4D R16 version and has 380,639 polygons, 28,445 vertices, and 35 objects.
