cgtrader
The TDB-1 Devastator, a torpedo bomber for the United States Navy, was first flown in 1935 and entered service in 1937. As the most advanced aircraft at that time, it was developed by Douglas in 1934. Despite its initial success, the TBD's obsolescence became apparent with rapid advancements in aviation technology. The bomber's performance declined significantly during the Battle of Midway, resulting in its swift removal from front line service and replacement with the Grumman TBF Avenger. This model has been meticulously designed in cinema4D for intricate renders, including bodypaint textures and standard materials. The provided zip-file contains 18 textures and a single material, with no cleaning up necessary upon dropping models into the scene. Additionally, it is compatible with lwo, 3ds, fbx, c4d, and obj formats, featuring separate fly and ground versions. However, manual loading of the alphamap (Pro_Run_A) is required in LWO, 3DS, and OBJ files. The model is based on R16 of cinema4D and boasts 380,639 polygons, 28,445 vertices, and 35 objects.
