cgtrader
The Douglas TDB-1 Devastator was a torpedo bomber for the United States Navy. Created in cinema4D, this model is detailed enough for close-up renders and includes bodypaint textures and standard materials. The zip file contains 17 textures, one material, and an alpha map. The scene requires no cleaning up before rendering, as all necessary files are included. The model comes with separate fly and ground versions in lwo, 3ds, fbx, c4d, and obj formats. In lwo, 3ds, and obj files, the one alphamap (Pro_Run_A) must be manually loaded into the Alphacanal or Transparency Canal. The c4d version is R16, with 26 objects, 276,458 vertices, and 370,160 polygons. This aircraft was ordered in 1934, first flew in 1935, and entered service in 1937 as the most advanced USN aircraft at that time. However, by Pearl Harbor, it was outdated, performing well initially but failing severely during the Battle of Midway. It was replaced by the Grumman TBF Avenger immediately after the battle.
