cgtrader
The Douglas TDB-1 Devastator was a torpedo bomber for the United States Navy, first flown in 1935 and entering service in 1937. This model, created in cinema4D, boasts detailed features perfect for close-up renders. The zip file includes bodypaint textures and standard materials. Inside the scene are the model, 18 textures, one material, and one alphamap. All necessary materials and textures are included, requiring no additional cleaning up. Simply drop your models into the scene to start rendering without needing any special plugins. The Phong shading interpolation/smoothing is set at 35°. Separate fly and ground versions are available in lwo, 3ds, fbx, c4d, and obj formats. Note: for lwo, 3ds, and obj files, the alphamap (Pro_Run_A) must be manually loaded into the Alphacanal or Transparency canal. The model is from a R16 c4d version, with polygons at 380,639, vertices at 284,458, and 35 objects. Textures total 18 with one material and alphamap. Unfortunately, by the time of the Pearl Harbor attack, the TBD was already outdated. In the Battle of Midway, Devastator planes faced near-total losses. The aircraft was subsequently replaced by the Grumman TBF Avenger in front line service.
