The textured model features animateable turbines, flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevators, and landing gear (hidden option available), built near to scale and offered in multiple formats. The Douglas DC-8, rival of the 707 series, shared design similarities and capabilities; first flying in 1957. Known for its safety record, these aircraft served main airline routes until late '70s. Many were converted for freight use post-passenger service, with some still flying today, celebrating 50 years since their creation.
