The Douglas DC-7C Seven Seas aircraft showcases exceptional detail, with its dimensions accurately scaled and numerous animateable features such as flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudder, landing gear, landing gear doors, propellers, and even animateable cowling flaps. Its engines are modeled to perfection, and this model is available in a diverse range of formats. Originally built by the Douglas Aircraft Company between 1953 and 1958, the DC-7C featured improved long-range capabilities for non-stop transatlantic flights, stronger engines, and increased fuel capacity due to its extended wingspan. A total of 121 were produced, serving well into the end of the 20th century, with a few still flying and many being meticulously restored by museums and private owners.
