The Douglas DC-7C, a long-range variant, was constructed with precise dimensions and detailed features, including movable control surfaces like flaps, ailerons, elevators, and rudders. Additionally, the model includes animateable landing gear, landing gear doors, propellers, a full double row radial engine, and cowling flaps. Available in multiple formats, this aircraft served until the end of the 20th century with some still flying and many being restored by museums and private collectors. Built from 1953 to 1958 by the Douglas Aircraft Company, it boasted improved engines, extended fuel capacity, and longer wings, with 121 units produced.
