The Douglas DC-7C, a long-range variant with non-stop transatlantic capability, was constructed by Douglas Aircraft Company between 1953 to 1958. Boasting improved engines and increased fuel capacity due to longer wings, 121 of these aircraft were built. Serving well into the end of the 20th century, a few still fly while many are being restored by museums and private owners. This meticulously crafted model features animateable control surfaces like flaps, ailerons, elevators, and rudder; movable landing gear, landing gear doors, and propellers; and a detailed double row radial engine with animateable cowling flaps. It comes in various formats for added versatility.
