The Douglas DC-7C, a scaled replica with accurate dimensions, features animateable control surfaces like flaps, ailerons, elevators, and rudder. It also has movable landing gear, doors, propellers, and double row radial engines under cowlings. The model is available in various formats. Originally manufactured between 1953-1958 by Douglas Aircraft Company, the DC-7C Seven Seas boasted non-stop transatlantic capabilities, upgraded engines, and extended fuel capacity through longer wings. A total of 121 were built; some still fly while others are under restoration by museums or private owners for preservation purposes into the latter years of the 20th century.
