The Douglas DC-7C, a long-range transport aircraft manufactured from 1953 to 1958 by the Douglas Aircraft Company, features animateable control surfaces such as flaps, ailerons, elevators, and rudder, along with movable landing gear, landing gear doors, and propellers. A full double-row radial engine is meticulously modeled within the cowlings, accompanied by animateable cowling flaps. Available in various formats, this aircraft boasts increased fuel capacity due to its longer wings and improved engines, making it a non-stop transatlantic capability variant known as DC-7C Seven Seas. Out of 121 built, some still fly today while many more are being restored by museums and private owners, continuing their service well into the end of the 20th century.
