The Douglas DC-7C, a detailed replica of the original aircraft, boasts animateable control surfaces such as flaps, ailerons, elevators, and rudder. Additionally, its landing gear, landing gear doors, and propellers are also moveable. An intricate double row radial engine is modeled in the cowlings, accompanied by animateable cowling flaps. This model comes in numerous formats. The DC-7C Seven Seas, an improved long-range variant of the Douglas DC-7, featured non-stop transatlantic capability, enhanced engines, and increased fuel capacity due to longer wings. A total of 121 units were manufactured, with some still flying today. Numerous restored models can be found in museums and private collections.
