The Douglas DC-7C, an American transport aircraft produced by the Douglas Aircraft Company between 1953 and 1958, features accurate scale dimensions and detailed construction. Animated control surfaces, such as flaps, ailerons, elevators, and rudder, are included, along with moveable landing gear, landing gear doors, and propellers. The model also boasts a meticulous double-row radial engine design within the cowlings, with animateable cowling flaps. Additionally, this aircraft is available in multiple formats. As an improved long-range variant of the DC-7, the C version offered non-stop transatlantic capability, enhanced engines, and increased fuel capacity due to extended wings. A total of 121 were built, with some still flying today and others being meticulously restored by museums and private owners as we enter the end of the 20th century.
