Available in numerous formats, this aircraft was produced from 1953 to 1958 by Douglas Aircraft Company. A long-range variant of the DC-7 series, the DC-7C Seven Seas boasted non-stop transatlantic capabilities, enhanced engines, and increased fuel capacity through extended wings. Out of 121 built, some continued operations into the end of the 20th century. Today, a few still fly while others are being restored by museums and private owners.
