The Douglas DC-7C, a long-range transport aircraft, was meticulously constructed to precise dimensions with intricate detailing. Its control surfaces, such as flaps, ailerons, elevators, and rudder, can be animated for realism. Additionally, the landing gear, landing gear doors, and propellers are animatable. The model features an accurate double-row radial engine inside the cowlings, with movable cowling flaps. This aircraft comes in various formats to suit different needs. Originating from 1953 to 1958 by Douglas Aircraft Company, the DC-7 served well into the 20th century's end. The improved long-range variant, DC-7C Seven Seas, boasted non-stop transatlantic capability, enhanced engines, and increased fuel capacity through extended wings. Out of 121 built, some still fly today, while others are being restored by museums and private owners for preservation purposes.
