The Douglas DC-7C Seven Seas boasts impressive features such as animateable control surfaces, including flaps, ailerons, elevators, and rudder, as well as movable landing gear, landing gear doors, and propellers. A detailed full double row radial engine is modeled within the cowlings, complete with animateable cowling flaps. This model comes in multiple formats. The DC-7C is a long-range variant of the Douglas Aircraft Company's DC-7, built from 1953 to 1958, featuring improved engines and increased fuel capacity due to longer wings. A total of 121 units were constructed, with some still flying today and many more being meticulously restored by museums and private owners for continued preservation into the 20th century's end.
