It also includes animateable landing gear, landing gear doors, propellers, and a double row radial engine in the cowlings with animateable cowling flaps. Available in various formats, this Douglas DC-7 model replicates the American transport aircraft produced by Douglas Aircraft Company between 1953 and 1958. As the last major piston-engine transport from Douglas, it preceded the era of jet aircraft. The DC-7B version offered extended range for transcontinental US routes, with 112 units manufactured.
