This intricate, nearly scale polygonal model includes animateable features like landing gear, ailerons, elevators, rudder, flaps, and animated propellers in various formats. All textures and materials are included with UVW mapping. The Douglas DC-6, built by the Douglas Aircraft Company from 1946 to 1958, was initially developed as a military transport during World War II but later adapted for commercial use. Over 700 were produced, with many still in operation today for cargo, military, and wildfire control duties. In the U.S. Air Force, it was known as the C-118 Liftmaster, while in the U.S. Navy (until 1962), it was designated R6D before being reclassified as the C-118.
