The model comes with all required materials and textures for seamless use in various formats. The DC-4 initially served Eastern and United Airlines pre-WWII in 1939, but faced maintenance challenges and was deemed unsuitable for commercial service. However, the outbreak of WWII led to its adoption by the military, resulting in the production of 1,100 C-54s and R5Ds. Post-war, 79 DC-4s were produced for airlines, with many C-54s and R5Ds returning to civilian use. Capable of carrying 40-80 passengers, the aircraft cruised at 227 mph, boasting a range of 4,250 miles and a service ceiling of 22,300 feet. As of 2014, DC-4s are still in operation.
