The A-26B Invader, initially designed by Douglas in the early '40s, was a low-level attack and bomber aircraft with 14 machine guns or cannon combinations, an internal bomb bay, and impressive speed for its time. It saw action during WWII, the Korean conflict, and the Vietnam War before being redesignated as B-26 in 1948. The A-26K underwent significant upgrades, including increased horsepower and external weapons storage.
