The Douglas B-18 Bolo model boasts a near-scale representation of its actual dimensions with complete texturing. The B-18 Bolo medium bomber served both the United States Army Air Corps and the Royal Canadian Air Force, based on their DC-2 commercial aircraft. Distinct versions included the B-18A, which was equipped with more powerful Wright R-1820-53 engines and a relocated bombardier's station; 217 were built. Produced in the mid-1930s, this bomber saw action during World War II. Numerous variations of the aircraft featured different nose sections. Post-war, many surviving B-18s were repurposed as bombardier and gunner trainers in the US, with some being loaned to Russia, Australia, and sent to Britain.
