Serving the United States Army Air Corps and the Royal Canadian Air Force, the B-18 medium bomber was based on the commercial DC-2, with B-18A models boasting more powerful engines and a relocated bombardier's station. Produced from mid-1930s, these aircraft saw service in World War II. Various versions existed, each with distinct nose sections; post-war, most surviving B-18s were used as trainer planes in the US, while some were loaned to Russia, Australia, and Britain.
