Dreamscape Studios has crafted a range of high-value models, including the Douglas A-26B, A-26C, B-26B, B-26C, and A-26K. These detailed models are nearly to scale in dimensions, feature realistic textures and maps, and boast numerous components. The models include animated features like propellers, ailerons, elevators, flaps, rudder, cowling flaps, landing gear retraction, and landing gear doors. Built in 2016, these models are excellent for video animation and serve as impressive animations. The Douglas A-26B Invader was designed by the Douglas company as a low-level attack and bomber aircraft during the early 1940s. With 14 machine guns or combinations of machines guns and cannons, an internal bomb bay, and fast speed for a twin-engine radial plane, it proved reliable and rugged on battlefronts throughout WWII. A-26B models featured a hard nose with a navigator/gun loader stationed in the forward cockpit, while A-26C models had a clear nose with a navigator bombardier inside. Both models saw active service during the Korean conflict and were redesignated B-26 in 1948. The A-26K underwent significant refinements, including increased horsepower and external weapons stores under the wings. During the Vietnam conflict, these upgraded aircraft also saw combat action. Post-war, A-26s remained in frontline service with the USAAF and USAF, and were redesignated as B-26 in 1948. The aircraft participated in various conflicts and were sold to other nations for use in their air forces or converted into executive transports, fire fighter water tankers, and flying warbirds for public display.
