These meticulously crafted models boast near-scale dimensions, detailed paintwork and textures, and numerous features such as animated propellers, flaps, and landing gear. The models were fully rebuilt in 2016 and are perfect for video animation projects. The A-26B Invader was a low-level attack and bomber aircraft developed by Douglas in the early 1940s, featuring 14 machine guns or combinations of cannons and guns. It was known for its speed, ruggedness, and reliability. The A-26B models had a 'hard nose' with a navigator/gun loader stationed in the forward cockpit, while the A-26C models featured a clear nose with a navigator bombardier. Both models saw active service during WWII and the Korean conflict, with some being redesignated as B-26s. In the mid-1960s, the A-26K underwent significant upgrades for use in the Vietnam conflict. These versatile aircraft were also sold to other nations for military purposes or converted into civil use, firefighting water tankers, or museum exhibits for public display.
