These models boast geometrically detailed radial engines, animated features like propellers, ailerons, elevators, flaps, and landing gear retraction, making them perfect for video animations and animation projects. Douglas A-26B Invader, designed in the 1940s as a low-level attack and bomber aircraft, featured 14 machine guns or combinations of machine guns and cannons, an internal bomb bay, and impressive speed for a twin-engine radial plane. The A-26B models had hard noses with forward cockpits housing navigator/gun loaders, while the A-26C models boasted clear noses with navigator bombardiers. Both variants served in WWII before transitioning to the USAAF and later the USAF as B-26s. During the Korean conflict, B-26B and C models saw active service, and post-war, they underwent significant upgrades, designated A-26K, for enhanced wings, power plants, and external weapon stores. These improvements continued to serve in the Vietnam conflict. The A-26s and B-26s were also exported globally for military use or repurposed as executive transports, firefighting water tankers, or museum/warbird exhibits.
