Introducing Dreamscape Studios' latest models, including the A-26B, A-26C, B-26B, B-26C, and A-26K. These highly detailed aircraft replicas are near scale, fully painted with realistic textures, and feature numerous components. The models boast animated features like propellers, ailerons, elevators, flaps, rudder, cowling flaps, landing gear retraction, and landing gear doors. Perfect for video animations and animation purposes, these models were built in 2016. The Douglas A-26B Invader was developed by the Douglas company in the early 1940s as a low-level attack and bomber platform. Equipped with 14 machine guns or combinations of machine guns and cannons, an internal bomb bay, and fast radial engines, it was a reliable aircraft that saw production in 1943 and combat during WWII. The A-26B models featured a hard nose with a navigator/gun loader stationed in the forward cockpit, while the A-26C had a clear nose with a navigator bombardier. Both models were used for staffing, ground attack, supporting ground troops, and medium-level bombing missions. After WWII, these aircraft remained in frontline service with the USAAF and USAF, redesignated as B-26s. They saw active service during the Korean conflict, undergoing major upgrades with refinements to their wings, structure, power plant, and weapons systems. Designated A-26K, these aircraft were used in the Vietnam conflict in the mid-1960s. The A-26 and B-26 also found their way into the hands of other nations' air forces, as well as being sold for civil use, converted to firefighter water tankers, or preserved for display in museums and as warbirds.
