This aircraft targeted enemy ground positions, airfields, and shipping to neutralize adversaries' capabilities and resources. With its exceptional performance, it served the US for 20 years more. Armed with 6-14 machine guns (30 or 50 caliber), 20 mm cannons, an A-26 version even had a 75 MM anti-tank gun to combat shipping and fortified ground targets.
