The Douglas A-26B, A-26C, B-26B, B-26C, and A-26K models by Dreamscape Studios are recent high-value creations. These meticulously crafted models boast near-scale dimensions, detailed texturing, and realistic mapping. They also feature an array of intricate components such as radial engines, cockpit controls, and animated features like propellers, flaps, and landing gear. The latest build in 2016 offers excellent animation potential for videos. The A-26B Invader, a low-level attack and bomber aircraft, emerged from Douglas's early '40s design efforts as a successor to the A-20 and B-26 models. Its key features included 14 machine guns/cannons, internal bomb bays, and fast radial-powered performance. During WWII, these planes were widely deployed, with A-26B models sporting 'hard nose' cockpits for a navigator/gunner. The A-26C featured a clear nose for the navigator bombardier. Both served in staffing, ground attack, and low-medium level bombing missions. Post-war, they were redesignated B-26s and saw further action in the Korean and Vietnam conflicts.
