Dough Roller and Docker
thingiverse
I've been thinking about making a good thin crust pizza at home for quite a while now, but I never had the chance until recently. Working at the pizza place long ago taught me how they used a roller to shape the dough into perfect form in a pan and then a docker to create those nice clean edges. Open to suggestions on design, I think it would be as simple as printing two of any type of roller you want and gluing them together. Then print a handle and attach one end, gently pushing the other end into place. I reduced my initial print (visible in the picture) by a bit to test it out, and so far I've confirmed that the model needs some adjustments. The spikes on one side are longer than those on the other, which I'm not sure how I managed to do, and I need to add two more planes of spikes at 45-degree angles since they catch if not spinning freely. Despite this, it works just fine as is and I'll get around to updating it eventually.
