Doublesided Circular Maze

The double-sided maze presents a true puzzle challenge as the eye can't simply follow the path, and the motoric difficulty is compounded by the need to change sides twice. My construction was completed on a desktop CNC machine by Stepcraft using two sheets of 6mm beech plywood, which were carefully cut with a spiral-toothed 3mm flute and a 2mm end mill designed for plastics. The acrylic glass cover was then precision-cut to fit the maze. Cleaning out the channels required an extensive process involving sandpaper. A 3mm steel ball from a bike wheel hub was used to add a touch of realism to the puzzle. For more innovative designs, visit https://www.zenziwerken.de/en/.
