Double Zipper

Double Zipper

thingiverse

When using my Moon Rover tread toy, I discovered it could be easily folded into itself. An improved version is now available, allowing it to zip on both sides. This flexible design can be layered in multiple ways, making it a fun and versatile item. I'm eager to see the creative uses and shapes others come up with for this product. Regarding printing, I had difficulty using Skeinforge for zipper.stl. Therefore, I suggest printing zipperSolid.stl without filling, focusing only on the perimeter. This will result in two zippers that can be separated using scissors and shaped like zipper.stl to allow hooking end to end or side by side. The OpenSCAD file is customizable with four parameters defining the shape, all of which are clearly stated at the beginning of the code. The default thread thickness is set to 0.42mm, designed for TOM MK6's 0.3mm layer height. To achieve optimal results, simply read the thickness from RepG and input it into the scad file.
