I'm wrapping up a project in my basement by constructing an office space. When I gave instructions to the electrician, I requested that he install outlets at 36" high and fit them into double gang boxes. I wanted the second box left open so I could run low-voltage cables, which include three Cat-6 cables, one coax cable, and one HDMI cable. But what really caught my attention was how difficult it seems to be to find wall plates that can accommodate this setup. That's why Matt Hagan created a design for these custom wall plates.
