Double Vertical carriage for Rostock with Kühling's LM8UU holder
thingiverse
To reduce slack in LM8UUs, I paired them up on the drill rod, resulting in minimal backlash. Kühling's holders, designed for X prusa ends, were used again. Slic3r settings included a 0.35 nozzle, 0.20 layer height (0.22 first layer), 45-degree fill at 40% using line method, without brim or support material. ABS was printed on Prusa Mendel v2. Required files are from github and scad files from Thingiverse. LM8UUs should fit tightly in holders without overtightening to prevent binding. Ensure free movement by sliding them while tightening. I placed the paired bearings 45 degrees out of phase for less backlash.
