I aimed to repurpose an outdated air conditioner for a room with no direct window access, but the vent pipe didn't reach the hole in the wall. I stumbled upon an even older 5-inch pipe that seemed tailor-made for the job, except its threads were oriented in the opposite direction. I devised a speedy fix by utilizing andreq's connector (thanks!) and flipping it in half to match the thread pattern.
