The Double Stage Pneumatic Gari Press Machine offers an alternative for liquid extraction in cassava processing. Cassava is loaded into the hopper, where it falls through a suction end, passing through a new design with perforated bottom in a receiving chamber. A liquid collection basin is located at the bottom of the secondary press unit. The pneumatic press is operated using a directional control valve to compress the cassava and release moisture. Ground cassava falls to the second stage, where it's pressed again before frying. This double-stage process increases moisture removal efficiency compared to other designs.
