Double Stacked Octo Monitor Case
thingiverse
I have not printed this yet, but I am planning on buying two of the monitor "kits" (instead of the individual parts) from Qrome's Etsy store. But I can't find any cases for the kits that hold more than one monitor. So I made this quick and ugly by grafting two together in FreeCAD but went vertical instead of horizontal. Why? why not? I think it looks cool and doesn't take up more desk space. You do need to print two of the original backplates, available from the original listing. If anyone would like to clean it up, make it nicer and fix the joining, please feel free. I used the V2 case as that is the one said to be for the kit he sells. REVISION: I have added a second version, I removed the top of the original case now before pasting the second case on top, allows for a little closer fit and eliminates the seam a little. I am probably going to test print this one since I have ordered the kits. Will leave the original version up so people can remix it if they like. Update: I finally got to print one, and other than some under extrusion issues (unrelated to the design) it seems a solid build and is a viable option for a duplex monitor case.
