I decided to incorporate an additional spring made from TPU after initially printing the first one, aiming to boost its stiffness without sacrificing flexibility. With the extra spring now in place, the design remains remarkably pliable, despite having doubled up on springs. The enhanced version, featuring two springs in tandem, is visible on the left side of the attached photograph.
